From the first cut of film to the definitive version signalled by the director's cut, from picture engineering through to post-production and editing, each stage of the process has its own seal of approval. Only when Tick The Box Productions Limited is satisfied with a finished project, and has given its final tick of authorisation, does it release a film to its target audience. This time-consuming process in assembling pictures pays homage to the art form that is the raison d'être of Tick The Box Productions Limited.

“Out Of The Night” is the company's latest big production and is one in a progressive series of adult vampire stories. The action packed, fast paced storyline from film writer, director and producer Dean I. Anderson spans 125 years and features beautiful vampire women, machine guns, tanks and superfast cars – with sex, horror and white knuckle terror in equal measure.

The setting for this full-length Gothic horror movie, with high blood count, is in and around the ancient City of Ripon. In the lead role of Lady Adele Bowes is film and television actress Adrienne Carlyle. Playing her parents, Sir Henry and Lady Davinia Bowes, are renowned actors Simon Williams and his wife Lucy Fleming.

Post-production of the Victorian scenes for “Out Of The Night” has now been completed. Thanks are due in this respect to ITV1 Yorkshire, Television Centre, Leeds, West Yorkshire, who have been very supporting and co-operative. Currently under way is a comprehensive programme of work focusing on the film's modern day storyline and scenes.

Also ongoing in 2009 is the preparatory pre-shooting photography for a separate film project with the working title of “Zombie Racket Girl”. This exciting and original horror drama from Tick The Box is aimed at the American market and has all the twists and turns that are the hallmark of horror drama specialist Dean I. Anderson.
